Expressions of Interest called for Volunteer Grants program
Expressions of Interest are open now for not-for-profit community groups and organisations in Hinkler which need a helping hand to support their local volunteers.
Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt is calling for expressions of interest for the 2019-20 Volunteer Grants Program.
âVolunteering is part of the Australian way of life and many organisations couldnât continue without the help of volunteers,â he said.
âThis Federal funding program provides grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to help cover volunteerâs fuel costs, training costs, as well as small items such as printers or laptops.
âIf local organisations would like to be considered for a grant they need to complete an Expression of Interest form and return it to the Hinkler electorate office by 5pm on Thursday, February 13, 2020.â
