Women leaders in sport grants

Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt is encouraging locals to apply for the Australian Government’s Women Leaders in Sport (WLIS) program.

Through WLIS, individuals can apply for grants of up to $5000 per annum and organisations can access up to $10,000 per annum.

WLIS has provided support to more than 22,000 women across the country since it started in 2002.

“Hinkler is lucky to have many outstanding women involved in sport, but there is still room for many more to pursue leadership roles,” Mr Pitt said.
