Stronger Communities Program underway

Tuesday, 25 August 2015

The Federal Government will provide $150,000 a year over two years for small capital projects in the Hinkler Electorate through the newly established Stronger Communities program.

Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt said eligible not-for-profit organisations and Councils could apply for grants of between $5000 to $20,000, but will need to demonstrate they can match the Government’s contribution.

“As is required, a Hinkler advisory committee has been established to examine and prioritise projects to ensure the funding delivers the best possible outcome for our local communities,” Mr Pitt said.
