Eligible students from regional and remote Australia can apply now for scholarships worth up to $18,000 to support their tertiary education in 2022.
Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt said applications for Round 6 of the Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships (RRES) program are now open. Â
âThese scholarships are a fantastic opportunity for students from regional and remote communities including Hinkler to access financial support to support further study such as a university qualification,â Mr Pitt said.
âI would encourage all students from Hinkler to check their eligibility and if eligible, to apply for an RRES scholarship.â
The RRES program supports people studying from Certificate IV through to PhD level who are:
- commencing a new course of study in 2022
- studying on campus, online or via distance education
- studying from six months full-time up to eight years part-time.
Over 4,000 students have received scholarship funding since the programâs first round which commenced in 2018.
The Australian Government has invested $62.6 million in the RRES program since 2017.
