Hinkler electorate office opens in Hervey Bay

Thursday, 14 March 2019

Residents in the southern part of the Hinkler electorate will now be able to make enquiries locally with an office opening in Hervey Bay.

Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt officially opened the new electorate office today at Shop 3, 63 Torquay Road, Pialba.

“Since I was first elected in 2013 I have been lobbying to be able to open an office in Hervey Bay.

“I have written to the Special Minister of State numerous times over the years and I’m pleased it has finally come to fruition.

“It will provide easier access for constituents living in the southern part of the electorate to make inquiries and seek assistance from my office.

Residents can make enquiries at the Hervey Bay office about Centrelink, Veteran’s Affairs, citizenship, passports, flags and congratulatory messages for birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

Mr Pitt previously held meetings with constituents at the Fraser Coast Regional Council offices.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank council for making their meeting rooms available to me over the past six years.”

The Hervey Bay office is located at Shop 3, 63 Torquay Road, Pialba, phone (07) 4124 3451 and will be open Monday to Friday from 9am – 3.30pm.
