‘Dare Mighty Things’ – the slogan from the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab is a short quote from a Teddy Roosevelt speech: “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure … than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a grey twilight”.

Last month, at the end of 2023, my office received a flurry of emails from people about Australia Day.
